Okay I’ll admit, furniture is the one thing I’ve held out on purchasing from Amazon. When I think of on-trend, stylish furniture, Amazon isn’t exactly what comes to mind. I assumed everything would look basic and cheap, so I wrote it off.
But omg — I couldn’t have been more wrong! There’s some really inexpensive, designer-looking furniture and home decor at a super low cost, if you spend the time looking. Which, as you can guess by the title — I’ve already done for you.

Over the years there have been some amazing replicas of Serge Mouille’s famous sconces (and for a mere $5,495 USD, you can get the real thing), but none as close to the original (or as cheap!) as this one on Amazon. I would actually love to get this for our living room, but unfortunately we don’t have hardwiring in our walls for sconces. If anyone finds a plug-in version… you let me know!
I love Amazon for affordable lighting as it is, and their newest line, Rivet, is full of mid-century modern treasures. This lamp’s brass base and frosted globe make it look super luxe. This is a great dupe for CB2‘s sphere studio desk lamp. I actually may like the Amazon one better!
Details like the matte black pulls and horizontal rivets make this piece look so much more expensive than it is. Do I need this? (The answer is yes).
After falling in LOVE with this media unit from CB2 ($1099 CAD), my heart literally stopped when I found this one. I may actually… like this one better? Hear me out: I know it’s not real wood (although looks pretty close), but I love that it has the metal perforated door to hide away our Xbox console and controllers (such an eye sore)!
This is a high quality alternative to the Barnaby Lane Tanner Armchair, which goes for $999 USD. If I had the budget, I would totally want to support the brand and buy original. Until then, I’ll settle for Amazon’s version, which is still made of solid teak and genuine leather. Yay.
And for about $150 less, you can get this all black version.
These barstools would look so cute in a California casual, boho kitchen!
This is the most expensive item on this list, but I wanted to add it here to show the deals you can get on on Amazon in comparison to more popular stores. This style of bench goes for $1490 at Barnaby Lane. You get the point — Amazon has an unreal selection of leather woven seating! I would love this bench for the end of a bed.
I love that this version of CB2’s Element Coffee table ($399) is still made of real concrete. So you’re still getting quality, but for $100 cheaper! This size also works better for most apartments.
I love the silhouette of this chair. The metal frame and fabric seating keep the price point low. It comes in tan (faux) leather too!
This Hans Wegner-inspired dining chair is a mid-century classic.
Cane has resurged it’s way to being the most on-trend material right now, but you may not want to invest in cane furniture if it will go out of style in the next few years. This chair’s price point makes it a good option!
Now House is one of Amazon’s latest interior designer lines in collaboration with Jonathan Adler. I love the shapes on this art deco, bohemian coffee table.
Remember when I said I thought Amazon was just for basic, mass-produced items? Yeah… I was REALLY wrong. This side table is beautiful.
A more modern take on the natural tree stump side tables.
This is a good affordable alternative to the ever-popular CB2 stairway ladder bookcase. I’m considering a few of these open shelves for our living room!
There are honestly so many more great things I found that I had to edit down from this list. For more budget-friendly items, check out my On A Budget section of my shop page!
