Born and raised on the west coast, Carmen’s unique design perspective is inspired by the natural beauty of her surrounding landscape and her love for iconic European design. She founded carmenjavier.co in 2017, initially as an interior design blog to document her journey designing her first apartment. What started as a creative pursuit grew into her full time passion and career, relaunching Carmen Javier Co as an interior design firm in 2020. While design comes intuitively to Carmen, it is grounded in her formal education in both interior design and business, providing a unique blend of creative, technical and management skills.
